Improvements in v6.2

  • EC2 instances with Marketplace IDs are now supported for backup

  • EC2 Transporters can be set to run only when required 

  • Added the ability to choose a volume type for Amazon EBS backup repository

  • Added the ability to choose a type for EC2 backup job temporary volumes

  • Added support for Storage vMotion migration to Flash VM Boot feature

  • New Alarms view on dashboards

  • Added the amount of transferred data and speed per VM in job reports

  • Added target storage in job reports

  • System mailboxes removed from wizard for Exchange 2013/2016

  • Improved encryption for passwords stored inside product database

Fixed Issues in v6.2

  • Fixed the issue of backup repository corruption that occurred after an unexpected Transporter machine/service shutdown while a mainatance task is in progress. 

  • Fixed the issue when replicas were connected to a network during screenshot verification

  • Fixed the issue with product version update inside Windows Programs and Features

  • Fixed the issue when ESXi hosts with the same management IP could not be added to inventory 

  • Fixed the issue when disks added to Transporter VM for Hot-Add were added to backup job

  • Fixed the issue with rounding across Job reports and Dashboard charts to show the same data

  • Fixed the issue when Exchange 2016 OLR could not open Exchange database

  • Fixed the issue when jobs that use VMware resource pool as a target could fail

Known Issues in v6.2

  • Search for Active Directory objects may work improperly on some configurations

  • Object recovery for Exchange 2016 may work improperly on some configurations

  • Encrypted repositories are not supported with RHEL/SLES (required packages are missing)

  • NFS datastores cannot be used as target datastores for flash VM boot or screenshot verification

  • Replica/recovered VM disks are always created as Lazy zeroed if source VM had both Lazy and Eager zeroed disks

  • Exchange OLR: Emails that were forwarded to recipient as attachments cannot be recovered from the mailbox

  • Linux transporter should be used for replicating/backing up VMs with SATA disks

  • Exchange Public Folders are not supported for granular recovery

  • Default backup repository of the Virtual Appliance cannot be extended beyond 16 TB

  • Application-aware processing for AWS EC2 may hang when using domain credentials

  • Replica AMIs and recovered EC2 instances have "Platform" attribute set to "Other Linux" due to AWS API limitations

  • Active Directory printers are skipped during recovered items import
